Moses Brown First Pitch

In summer 2016, Moses Brown, an almost 30-year employee of Piggly Wiggly, suffered a stroke while at work which impaired the right side of his body. To help him regain function, balance and strength, he chose HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbia for his rehabilitation services. One year later, Moses is doing extremely well, but is still working hard to regain independence. Because of his drive and inspiration to others, Moses, a former baseball player, was selected to take the mound at the Columbia Fireflies game on July 3, 2017 to throw the first pitch of the game.
